Dillie Keane: Still Curious…

Crazy Coqs Cabaret, W1F 7ED , [Venue Details]

Newly hip with a brand new hip, Dillie promises a raft of new songs reflecting on life, art and the price of fish. Well, possibly not the price of fish.

13 Oct 2025
@7.00pm

Rather like Father William, she is old. Thus her mind and heart are like old sea-going crafts turned upside down on the shore: encrusted with barnacles and possibly some desiccated fronds of seaweed. Whether this gibberish can be turned into song, of course, is another matter entirely.

Anyhow, as her dear old producer often tells her, she won’t die wondering, and having muddled through a lifetime of catastrophic decisions and bad living, she has ample raw material for an entire songbook on the futility of love and other personal relations.

Expect hilarity, pathos & high kicks. And possibly an increasingly alarming resemblance to Baby Jane. Without the ribbons. Or the rat.

“A rare performer who can produce sharp, piercing satire and deliver heartbreaking songs with élan.”-Huffington Post

“Keane prompts gales of laughter with merely the raising of a quizzical eyebrow.” –The Times, London.

“A natural clown.” –New York Times
